With an anticipated completion date of Spring 2019, The Townhomes will boast a modern-meets-traditional design, featuring open main living plans and three stories of livable space.
The Townhome project began as an historic up-down duplex built in the mid-to-late 1800s, surrounded by new construction townhomes. The structure was stable but years of abandonment and exposure to extreme temperature left the interior of the home in a significant state of deterioration in need of substantial renovation. To fit in with the immediate area’s new site plan, and to ensure the proper investment could be made in the home’s renovation, the house was completely configured into two front-to-back townhomes.
Currently under construction with an anticipated completion date of Spring 2019, a new firewall has been constructed to separate the two units. Because the interior of the home had no discernible style, the new interiors will be a modern-traditional aesthetic with open main living plans and three stories of livable space. The exterior of the home has seen significant renovation as well, with the goal of establishing the home as a residence along the historic streetscape while also paying homage to the building’s past life as a storefront.
A vision for the project’s intended aesthetic while in progress.
